organize your closet

FIRST – Prepare! Set aside at least three to four hours for the task, and make sure you have access to a full-length mirror. Wear neutral undergarments, as you will be trying on everything you own. All hangers should be of the same size and type (all plastic, or all wooden) and made for specific clothing items – top/dress hanger, pant hanger, etc. This will save you precious space in your closet. Hangers.

Strategize Your Shoe Storage

Another important thing to keep in mind when organizing your shoes is their placement. I am not a fan of slanted shoe shelves; they actually take up more vertical space than flat shelves as long as the flat shelves can be adjusted, and the fences on the front of slanted shoes shelves can damage the fronts of some shoes. I do believe that shoes should be, if at all possible, placed on shelves and not the floor.
